Week 2 EOC : Three Examples Of Questionable Ethics

My first example of a questionable ethic is going to be based on dietary supplements. According to The Dietary Supplement Heath and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA), the dietary supplement or dietary ingredient manufacturer is responsible for ensuring the supplement or ingredient is safe before it is marketed. As far as people saying not all dietary plans work , they do as long as you do everything that is instructed or needed . You cannot just take the supplement and plan to lose weight without working out or exercising and eating healthy.

My second example of a questionable ethic is going to be area 51. Alot of people believe the military created Area 51 to experiment and hide "extra terestrial" life from all of the citizens. You are not allowed to visit this area unless you are military and even then you are sworn to secrecy. If you are an employee you are required to park miles away and you will then be transported to work.  Area 51 sits on a dry lake bed called " groom ". The closest town is Rachel , Nevada , which is 25 miles north  of the base. As far as we have proof of Area 51 is " the testing of technologies and system training for operations critical to the effectiveness of U.S military forces and the security of the United States.

My third and last example of a questionable ethic is going to be Marijuana. There are doctors and stoners and constant people everyday who smoke or prescribe marijuana all over the world. Marijuana is a plant, so its natural , and natural is always good right ? Think again because both natural and synthetic marijuana can cause long-lasting , negative impact on your developing brain. Using Marijuana at a young age slow the growth in your brain , hints why we have late reactions to things when under the influence of marijuana. Marijuana smoke contains 50%-70% more carcinogenic hydrocarbons then tobacco smoke. Marijuana is usually called the "Gateway" drug but like any other drug or alcohol if you become dependent on it , it can potentially harm you. Although there have not been any recorded deaths due to Marijuana the only way I know you can die from smoking it is if you smoke your weight or more at one sitting. (which is physically impossible you would fall asleep) .
